Bird & wildlife watching in Quebec and elsewhere

I’ve not been too active recently, just playing with the new camera a bit. It seems ok and a viable alternative to lugging the big camera around although I don’t see it as a replacement.
Below shots of a Common Redpoll and Red Squirrel, more to come as opportunities arise.
Over half a centuary old and still birding strong. Now based in Quebec, Canada and enjoying every minute. I've been birding since black & white TV. I also take time to look at dragonflies and butterflies and frequently drag my poor, suffering wife to insect infested rainforests but she is still with me so it can't be all bad. Why NotDennis? Because my name is Mark!
Fatter, greyer and now 55 but what can you do. Moved to Canada in 2003, still no idea what icing means in hockey nor do I care. Birder first, dragonflies and butterflies next. Seen a few, found a few try to go birding every day. Wife, Sandra. Not a bad old stick all things considered, hardly ever complains when dragged around bug infested jungles or sewage farms these days, still finds it hard to ignore the privee signs though!

Nikon P510 Dave, 42X zoom. Lightweight and easy to take on a plane (and carry around all day).
Cheers Mark, I went for the Canon Powershot SX 50 for similar reasons.
