N. America tick

The images in these photos may look like distant white blobs to you but believe me when I tell you that they are Quebec’s first record of Little Egret. Found yesterday by Raymond Belhumeur at Ste-Catherine’s on the St-Lawrence River in Montreal, check out his very good photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/raymond-belhumeur/7509857488/in/photostream

I twitched it today and scored within seconds. It was much more distant at first then it flew closer to show more detail. It was great to twitch a Quebec bird and actually see it! Little Egret before Tricoloured Heron in Quebec, who would have thought it?
