More Oregon

Sorry for the brevity of the postings from Oregon. Time and broadband wait for no man or woman and so I`m just pitching up a few shots when I can.

After the pelagic, we headed south to Bandon. Target bird #1 was Elegant Tern and this year’s incursion of the species into Oregon continues with birds remaining in the Coos area.

At Bandon we found a few more shorebirds – high on the list of want to see this year/better/again was Wandering Tattler. They took some winkling out but we found a couple.

Nearby a plethora of Black Turnstones hid two Surfbirds. I managed to stalk them for reasonable shots.

Barely any small birds left now, warblers are very hard to find due to the weather being lovely – oh for a bit of a rainy front.

More when I have the chance.
