Just about finished a three state and technically non-birding trip which explains the lack of recent posts. We visited California, Nevada and Arizona and I did manage a bit of birding resulting in 15 lifers. More details once I get sorted, but for now one of my birds of the trip from a Whale watching jaunt out of Monterey, CA, a Black-footed Albatross.
